  • Is this process going to be expensive?
    Start by thinking about how many items it takes to get a room pulled completely together. Now imagine someone else doing it for you! This is an investment. While we obviously must account for our time and business practices, we end up saving you money in the long run, by avoiding poor buying, overspending on the wrong pieces and just making too many misguided mistakes. The cohesive process, including our design time, should always save you money in the long run.
  • We have kids and are concerned about durability. Will your selections hold up/be easy to clean?
    Yes! We have multiple lines that carry durable, pre-treated fabrics. These fabrics have advanced technology in stain resistance, durable construction, liquid repellency, odor resistance and UV and fade resistance. It is our job to choose a fabric that best meet the client’s needs based on the space it will be used in.
  • What type of projects do you do?
    We love all kinds of projects, from Powder room remodel to Kitchen redesign. We currently are not offering procurement and project management services , but will consider on a case by case basis.
  • How much should I budget?

  • How far would you travel for a project?
    We are willing to travel up to 1.5 -2 away from Alameda, CA. Travel expenses may apply. If you live further away, our Virtual Design service might be perfect for you.
  • Do you work with contractors?
    I work with the contractors hired by the client. I love working with other design professionals to create your custom space. We do not provide contractor services; so independent architects and contractors hired by the client are an integral part of the process.
  • How much do you charge?
    Our design process and fee schedule is split into phases. Every project starts with a paid Design consultation. It is followed by the presentation of a fixed fee design proposal. The first of 2 payments is made once the proposal is accepted and the last payment is expected before the final design presentation. We charge hourly for design implementation.
